FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – All five New England Revolution Academy teams hosted matches against FC Boston Bolts this past Saturday. The U-19s, U-17s, and U-15s hosted matches at East Providence High School, while the U-14s and U-13s played their games at Medway High School. In addition, the U-14s and U-13s played Sunday contests at Oakwood Soccer Club in Portland, Conn.
The Revolution Academy heads to Epping, N.H. this weekend for five matches against Seacoast United. All five matches will be contested on Saturday, November 11 at the Seacoast United Soccer Complex.
WEEK HIGHLIGHTS
- Midfielder Riad El-Moukhtari '99 (Revere, Mass.) recorded a brace in the U-19s' 4-2 loss to FC Boston Bolts. Midfielder Tim Ennin '00 (East Windsor, Conn.) registered his fourth assist of the season on El-Moukhtari's second goal.
- Midfielder Aaron Ramos '02 (Warwick, R.I.) scored his first goal as a Revolution Academy player in the U-17s' 3-1 loss to FC Boston Bolts.
- Three Under-15 players appeared on the scoresheet multiple times in the team's 4-0 win over FC Boston Bolts. Forward Andrew Serafino '03 (East Longmeadow, Mass.) scored two goals, midfielder Hikaru Fujiwara '03 (Lexington, Mass.) added a goal and an assist, and midfielder Aidan Melville '03(Cumberland Foreside, Maine) tallied two assists. Goalkeeper Eliot Jones '03 (New Britain, Conn.) made five saves in the shutout performance.
- Midfielder/Forward Michael Hofstetter '04 (East Greenwich, R.I.) recorded a goal and three assists in two matches for the U-14s. Forward Austin Bush '04 (Southampton, Mass.) recorded a goal in both matches.
- Midfielder Marco Dos Santos '05 (Windham, Mass.) and midfielder Andres Garcia '05 (Concord, Mass.) recorded game-winning goals in each of the U-13s victories.
