FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy's Under-17 and Under-15 teams played Generation adidas Cup East Region matches over the weekend. The matches contested at the U-17 level are qualifying matches for the 2018 GA Cup Finals, while the U-15 matches are friendlies between the two clubs. Both teams squared off with the New York Red Bulls on Friday, Oct. 6 followed by the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The U-17s and U-15s will complete the fall portion of their GA Cup schedules on Saturday Oct. 14 against New York City FC in matches that will be contested in both USSDA and Generation adidas Cup play. The U-17s and U-15s will resume GA Cup East Region matches during 2018 President's Day weekend (Feb. 16-19, 2018).
All five teams will return to action with home games on Saturday, Oct. 14 against fellow MLS Academy New York City FC. The U-13s and U-14s will play matches at Medway High School, while the U-15s, U-17s, and U-19s will play their contests at Gillette Stadium.
