FOXBOROUGH, Mass. ā The three New England Revolution Academy teams were unbeaten last weekend as the Under-18s and Under-16s took on Empire United in Rochester, New York while the Under-14s travelled to Orangeburg, New York to face World Class FC. In games that were played on Sunday, Oct. 18, the Under-16s and Under-14s earned 1-0 and 4-1 wins respectively while the Under-18s played to a 0-0 draw.
UNDER-18s
The Under-18s began the day in New York, playing to a 0-0 draw with Empire United. Despite controlling much of the possession, the Revs nearly fell behind midway through the first half when an Empire corner was headed on frame but Daniel Jones (West Hartford, Conn.) was on hand to clear the ball off the line. The Revs U-18s then threatened before the break, with Andrew Barrowman (Marshfield, Mass.) taking aim from the edge of the area following a corner kick, but the Empire goalkeeper was able to block Barrowmanās effort with his legs.
The U-18s pushed forward in the second half, looking for a go-ahead goal, with Nick Woodruff (Attleborough, Mass.) coming closest with another effort following a corner kick that the goalkeeper was able to save. In goal, Billy Sinibaldi (Plaistow, N.H.) made four saves on his way to preserving his first shutout of the season.

UNDER-16s
The Under-16s extended their unbeaten start to the season to seven games with a 1-0 victory against Empire United on Sunday. The Revs dominated the game, taking nine shots, six of which were on target, while limiting Empire to just two shots on goal. However, it took until the closing moments for the U-16s to take the lead, with Gustavo Cassemiro (Framingham, Mass.) securing the win in stoppage time. Gabriel Meireles (Everett, Mass.) received a pass from Kevin Vang (Cranston, R.I.) at the top of the Empire area and hit a left-footed cross to Cassemiro, whose shot went in off the post, giving the Revs the 1-0 win.
Goalkeeper Eddie Walsh (Westwood, Mass.) made two saves on the day to preserve his fifth shutout of the season, and the U-16sā seventh overall in league play. The side is still yet to concede a goal in the 2015-16 Development Academy season, having gone 560 minutes without letting in a goal since the start of the campaign.

UNDER-14s
The Under-14s extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a 4-1 win over World Class FC on Sunday. The Revs went ahead early, when Kaoru Fujiwara (Lexington, Mass.) swung in a corner kick that eluded every player in the area and was fumbled by the World Class goalkeeper into the goal, putting the Revs up 1-0 in the fifth minute. The hosts would equalize 10 minutes before halftime through Jorge Umana, but the U-14s pulled ahead for good three minutes later when forward Luis Blanco (Pawtucket, R.I.) stole the ball from the World Class goalkeeper and finished, making the score 2-1.
Blanco found the net again just before the break, receiving a pass from Caleb Williams (Attleborough, Mass.), beating his man and firing into the bottom corner for his second goal of the day and fourth in the last two games. Captain Elio Firmino (Somerville, Mass.) rounded out the scoring in the 67th minute, curling a 25-yard free kick into the top corner to make the final score 4-1.
