FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Two New England Revolution Academy teams continued their fall campaigns over the weekend, with the Unders-19s hosting D.C. United and the Under-14s hosting Seacoast United. The U-19s came away with a 7-2 win against D.C. United, while the U-14s topped Seacoast United by a score of 7-0.
All four New England Revolution Academy teams continue their fall campaigns this weekend. The Under-19s, Under-17s, and Under-15s will face off against the New York Red Bulls in Lancaster, Mass., while the Under-14s will travel to North Carolina to play D.C. United.
WEEKHIGHLIGHTS
- Forward Damian Rivera (Cranston, R.I. — 2002) scored four goals, including a first-half hat trick, in the Under-19s' 7-2 win against D.C. United.
- Forward Victor Viana (South Dennis, Mass. — 2001) tallied two assists in its U-19s' win.
- Forward Jordi Tornberg Ayala (Revere, Mass. — 2006) registered a hat trick to propel the U-14s to its 7-0 win vs Seacoast United.
- Midfielder Jaime Vega Espinosa (Cambridge, Mass. — 2007) submitted a second-half brace for in the U-14s' victory.
- Forward Raphael Alves (Framingham, Mass. — 2007) and defender Luke Churchill each recorded two assists in the U-14s' win.
- Goalkeeper Ryan Carney (Dunstable, Mass. — 2006) turned in his second shutout of the season in the U-14s' win.
