New England Revolution duo Juan Agudelo and Kelyn Rowe will both aim to make their mark on the international stage and draw the attention of head coach Bruce Arena with two crucial World Cup qualifiers looming in September.
For Agudelo, this year’s Gold Cup is a shot at redemption, having featured as a substitute in the 2011 final that the USMNT dropped to bitter rival Mexico, 4-2. For Rowe, it’s a first competitive game at the international level, having earned his first cap with a start against Ghana last weekend.
Revolution fans can cheer on Agudelo and Rowe together at the club’s official watch party, hosted at Black Sheep in Providence, Rhode Island (397 Westminster Street). The event begins at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
