RECENT FORM VS. NEW YORK RED BULLS
Saturday night's battle at Gillette Stadium will be the 77th regular-season meeting - and 89th in all competitions - between the New England Revolution and New York Red Bulls, whose rivalry goes all the way back to MLS' inaugural 1996 season.
New England is 2-1-2 in five meetings with RBNY in all competitions since the start of 2019, although they were winless in a pair of regular-season meetings last year, including a 1-1 draw at Gillette Stadium last August.
In regular-season play, home-field advantage has historically played a large role in recent years as the Revs have won five of the last seven meetings (5-1-1) in Foxborough, while the Red Bulls have been triumphant in 10 of the 12 matchups at Red Bull Arena (0-10-2).
The Revs are 3-1-2 (11 points) to start the year, most recently coming off a thrilling 1-0 win over the defending MLS Cup champions, Columbus SC. Meanwhile, the Red Bulls are coming off a 1-0 road loss to the Philadelphia Union, and are 2-3-0 through five games (6 points).
As the Revs look to stay atop the Eastern Conference standings and extend their home unbeaten run to four games, this will be a must-see battle.
Overall Record vs. Red Bulls: 31-28-17
Home Record vs. Red Bulls: 23-6-8
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 1, Red Bulls 1 (August 29, 2020)
Last meeting at Red Bull Arena: Red Bulls 1, Revs 0 (October 28, 2020)

SHOW YOUR COLORS
On Saturday night the Revs will be sporting "The Original," New England's primary kit designed as a nod to the club's original 1996 look. The sleek white stripe across the jersey echoes the angled stripes across the '96 kit, while the blue top is complemented by red shorts similar to those worn by the Revolution's first-ever squad.
You can own "The Original" by picking one up at the Gillette Stadium ProShop, or by ordering online HERE.
