RECENT FORM VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION
This will be the second meeting between the Revs and Union this year after Philadelphia capitalized on a pair of New England red cards – including one early in the first half – en route to a 2-0 win in the season opener back on March 3 at Talen Energy Stadium.
That was the Union’s fourth win over the Revs in the last five regular-season meetings, all via shutout and all by multiple goals. New England’s only victory in that span was a 3-0 triumph in the most recent meeting at Gillette Stadium last July.
Separated by just two points in the Eastern Conference standings and battling for a coveted playoff spot, these sides will meet again in just two weeks when the Revs will make their second visit of the season to Talen Energy Stadium.
Overall Record vs. Philadelphia Union: 6-11-4
Home Record vs Philadelphia Union: 3-4-2
Last Meeting: Union 2, Revs 0 (March 3, 2018 at Talen Energy Stadium)
Last Meeting at New England: Revs 3, Union 0 (July 29, 2017)
