RECENT FORM VS. CF MONTRÉAL
Four different goal scorers (Dylan Borrero, Carles Gil, Bobby Wood, and Giacomo Vrioni) and a three-save shutout effort from goalkeeper Djordje Petrović led the Revs to a 4-0 win over CF Montréal on April 8 at Gillette Stadium, getting New England back on track in the series after dropping both meetings in 2022. The Revs lost by an identical 4-0 scoreline on their most recent trip to Stade Saputo last August, but they'd won on their previous two visits to Montréal in 2020 and 2021, scoring seven goals in the process.
Following their run to the Leagues Cup Round of 16, the Revs resume MLS play perched second in the Eastern Conference standings. With just one loss since mid-May, the Revs have gone 6-1-7 in their last 14 games in all competitions, including 5-1-1 in their last seven league matches. This past weekend's scheduled return to league play was postponed because of Nashville SC's participation in the Leagues Cup final, meaning the Revs will have gone 19 days without a game when they visit CF Montréal, giving the likes of Carles Gil, Gustavo Bou, and Bobby Wood the chance to get healthy after missing the Leagues Cup Round of 16 showdown.
CF Montréal went 25 days between games, returning to MLS action with a 3-2 win at Toronto FC this past Sunday after failing to advance out of the group stage in Leagues Cup. That win – just their second of the year away from home – pushed Montréal above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference with 10 games remaining on their regular season schedule, and six of those 10 games will be at Stade Saputo, where they're 8-3-0 on the season.
After going 42 days between league matches the Revs will return to action with a sprint, playing three games in a span of eight days beginning on Saturday night. Following their trip north of the border the Revs will return to Foxborough for a pair of home games against the New York Red Bulls (August 30) and Austin FC (September 2).
Overall Record vs. Montréal: 16-12-3

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 4, Montréal 0 (April 8, 2023)
Last meeting at Stade Saputo: Montréal 4, Revs 0 (August 20, 2022)

Saturday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform for the 2023 and 2024 MLS seasons.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
