RECENT FORM VS. FC CINCINNATI
It's been three months since FC Cincinnati's 2-1 win over the Revs at Gillette Stadium, a result which ended a string of three straight draws in this series and snapped New England's eight-game unbeaten run against Cincinnati in all competitions (5-0-3). The Revs do, however, remain unbeaten all time in Cincinnati, going 3-0-1 on four previous trips to the Queen City. That includes a 2-0-1 record at TQL Stadium, most recently a 2-2 draw last July during a season in which FCC went 13-2-2 at home en route to a Supporters' Shield title.
Three different players scored first-half goals to lift the Revs to a 3-2 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC this past weekend in Foxborough, extending the Revolution's winning streak to three games. Esmir Bajraktarević and Noel Buck became the first pair of Revolution teenagers to score in the same game since 2008 (Sainey Nyassi and Kenny Mansally), while Giacomo Vrioni was also on the scoresheet for the third time in the regular season. With nine points from their last three games, the Revs have climbed to within four points of the playoff places in the East with games in hand on every team in the league except Columbus.
FC Cincinnati enter a midweek showdown with the Philadelphia Union leading MLS in points per game (2.12) as one of the league's hottest teams, having gone 8-1-0 since mid-April. Oddly enough, Pat Noonan's side has been most vulnerable at home, going 4-2-2 at TQL Stadium compared to a stellar 7-1-1 mark on the road. It's a lockdown defense that once again guides FCC, as they've conceded just 18 goals in 17 games, a defensive record bested only by Charlotte FC and Columbus leaguewide.
This weekend's road trip is once again a brief journey before the Revs are back home for consecutive games, hosting the Columbus Crew (June 29) and Atlanta United (July 3) in a five-day span.
Overall Record vs. FC Cincinnati: 5-2-3
Away Record vs. FC Cincinnati: 3-0-1
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: FC Cincinnati 2, Revs 1 (March 17, 2024)
Last meeting at TQL Stadium: Revs 2, FC Cincinnati 2 (July 1, 2023)

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Saturday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform once again for the 2024 MLS season.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
You can purchase the "Defiance" kit HERE.
