RECENT FORM VS. SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC
It's been almost five years since the last meeting between the Revs and Sounders, who played to a wild 3-3 draw in the Pacific Northwest in August 2019. In fact, the last two showdowns in Seattle have finished as 3-3 stalemates, as these teams played to that same scoreline in April 2017, sandwiched around a 0-0 draw at Gillette Stadium in July 2018. All told, the Revs are unbeaten in four meetings with the Sounders (1-0-3) dating all the way back to the 2016 season.
The Revs (7-11-1, 22 pts.) bounced back from last weekend's loss to Columbus with a midweek win over Atlanta United, getting a pair of goals from Giacomo Vrioni in a 2-1 triumph. Vrioni now has five goals in the last four games and the Revs improved to 5-1-0 since the beginning of June, taking them up to 11th in the Eastern Conference on overall points and eighth on points per game. Another quick turnaround will now see New England return to the road, where the Revs have won three of their last four games.
After finishing second in the Western Conference last year, Seattle (7-7-7, 28 pts.) got off to a rough start this season, beginning the campaign with just one win through the first nine games (1-5-3). The Sounders have since recovered in a big way, however, going 6-2-4 since late April to climb above the playoff line in the West. Brian Schmetzer's side has been buoyed by a strong home record, going 4-1-5 overall at Lumen Field, including an unbeaten 3-0-3 in their last six games on their home ground.
After wrapping up their busy week on Saturday night in Seattle, the Revs will return home next weekend to begin another stretch of three games in eight days, including home games against Orlando City SC (July 13) and FC Dallas (July 20) sandwiched around a visit to the Philadelphia Union (July 17).
Overall Record vs. Seattle Sounders FC: 5-4-5
Away Record vs. Seattle Sounders FC: 1-3-3
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 0, Sounders 0 (July 7, 2018)
Last meeting at Lumen Field: Revs 3, Sounders 3 (August 10, 2019)

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Saturday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform once again for the 2024 MLS season.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
You can purchase the "Defiance" kit HERE.
