RECENT FORM VS. TORONTO FC
Toronto have been something of a bogey team for the Revs in recent years, as they've won just once in the last nine meetings (1-4-4) dating back to 2018. The good news is that lone win did come at Saturday night's venue, BMO Field, where the Revs grabbed a 2-1 victory during their record-breaking 2021 regular season. Both meetings last year ended in draws, as the sides played to a 0-0 stalemate in Foxborough before battling to a 2-2 draw in Toronto just three weeks apart.
New England (6-1-3, 21 pts.) enters Matchday 11 still atop the Supporters' Shield standings, maintaining a slight edge over FC Cincinnati following this past weekend's 1-1 draw at Gillette Stadium. The result stretched the Revolution's current unbeaten run to seven games (4-0-3), while it also kept them unbeaten at home in all competitions (5-0-2) and unbeaten against Eastern Conference opposition (4-0-3). With just nine goals conceded through 10 games, the Revs have matched their best defensive start to a season, previously done in both 2005 and 2013.
TFC have been draw merchants through the early part of the season, tying six of their first 10 games (2-2-6), level with the New York Red Bulls and Colorado Rapids for most in MLS. One of Toronto's two wins did come this past weekend, however, as they battled to a 1-0 win over New York City FC at BMO Field, where they're an unbeaten 2-0-3 on the year.
Saturday night's journey north of the border begins a heavy travel schedule for the Revs, who will play five of their next six league games away from home through May and early June.
Overall Record vs. TFC: 14-10-13
Away Record vs. TFC: 4-6-6
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 0, TFC 0 (July 30, 2022)
Last meeting at BMO Field: Revs 2, TFC 2 (August 17, 2022)

Saturday night the Revs will wear their brand new "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform for the 2023 and 2024 MLS seasons.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
