RECENT FORM VS. ATLANTA UNITED FC
These sides met four months ago at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where Giorgos Giakoumakis - who has since been transferred to Liga MX side Cruz Azul - hit a hat trick in Atlanta United's 4-1 win over the Revs. That result snapped New England's six-game unbeaten run in the series (4-0-2), though the Revs have still won three straight over Atlanta at Gillette Stadium, including a 2-1 triumph last July behind goals from Matt Polster and Giacomo Vrioni.
The Revs (6-11-1, 19 pts.) saw their four-game winning streak snapped by the defending MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew this past weekend, a result that also saw New England's run of two straight wins at home come to an end. The hosts got off to a perfect start when Ema Boateng gave them a 1-0 lead inside 10 minutes, but the rampant Crew responded with five unanswered goals en route to a 5-1 victory. Now the Revs will go in search of a response against an Atlanta side that sits just five points above them in the Eastern Conference standings.
Atlanta (6-8-6, 24 pts.) hit a rough patch through April and May, going winless through a nine-game stretch (0-5-4) and ultimately parting ways with head coach Gonzalo Pineda in early June. Assistant coach Rob Valentino - a first-round SuperDraft pick of the Revolution in 2008 - has taken over on an interim basis and has the Five Stripes unbeaten through four games in charge (2-0-2), including a dramatic 2-1 win over Toronto FC this past weekend.
A busy week will see the Revs follow Wednesday night's match with a cross-country trip to the Pacific Northwest for a Saturday evening showdown with Seattle Sounders FC.
Overall Record vs. Atlanta: 4-6-4
Home Record vs. Atlanta: 3-1-2

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Wednesday night the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.
Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
