MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS MATCH
Saturday night will be a special occasion at Gillette Stadium, as the meeting with Charlotte FC will be the Revolution's inaugural Mental Health & Wellness Match. In addition to content on the Revolution's web site and social channels centered around mental health and wellness, there will also be several initiatives happening before and during Saturday's game.
Perhaps most notably, Revolution players will wear special green adidas jerseys during Thursday's training session leading into the match, each shirt donning the message "It's okay to not be okay" on the front. The color green is used as a representation of mental health awareness.
On matchday, fans will continue to see green accents throughout Gillette Stadium, including the lighthouse and stadium signage lit green until player walkouts. There will also be several activations related to mental health in Fan Zone, including those from Doc Wayne, Embrace Pathways, InnerCity Weightlifting, and Amputee Soccer. InnerCity Weightlifting will also conduct a circuit on the turf in the Enel Plaza.
Saturday night's Hero of the Match will be Rebekah Roulier, Deputy Director of Doc Wayne and a licensed mental health clinician with a focus on sports psychology.
Following this weekend's match, stay tuned to Revolution channels for more content centered on mental health and wellness throughout the course of the year.

RECENT FORM VS. CHARLOTTE FC
This series is still in its infancy, as Saturday night's showdown will be just the fifth meeting between the Revs and Charlotte FC since the visitors' expansion season in 2022. Charlotte's only win in the series came in the first-ever meeting in March 2022 - coincidentally the first win in club history - with New England claiming three straight victories since. That includes triumphs in both of the previous contests at Gillette Stadium, both won by 2-1 scorelines.
The Revs enter the weekend still in search of their first win in the MLS campaign, though they did pick up their first point of the season two weeks ago in a 1-1 draw with Chicago Fire FC. Nacho Gil scored his first MLS goal as the Revs came from behind that afternoon at Gillette Stadium, but the hosts were unable to find a winner despite a dominant second-half performance. More recently, New England began their two-legged series with Club América in the Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinals on Tuesday night in Foxborough, suffering a 4-0 loss to the reigning Liga MX champs.
Fresh off their first-ever playoff appearance last year, Charlotte FC are off to a solid start under the leadership of new head coach Dean Smith, going 2-2-2 through the season's first six games. That stretch includes results in each of their last two games against the Columbus Crew (2-0 win) and FC Cincinnati (1-1 draw), both of last year's Eastern Conference finalists. Smith, who previously coached five different clubs in England, has Charlotte FC playing with a strong defensive identity, scoring just six goals but conceding just five through their opening six games.
Saturday's match will close out a stretch of four straight home games in all competitions for the Revs, who'll now be on the road for five of their next six through mid-May, including trips to Mexico City, New York City, Toronto, Chicago, and New Jersey.
Overall Record vs. Charlotte FC: 3-1-0
Home Record vs. Charlotte FC: 2-0-0
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 2, Charlotte FC 1 (September 30, 2023)
Last meeting at Bank of America Stadium: Revs 1, Charlotte FC 0 (February 25, 2023)

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Saturday night the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.
Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
