RECENT FORM VS. COLUMBUS CREW

Columbus have no doubt held the upper hand in this series for the past decade, as the Revs are just 2-10-6 in their last 18 meetings with the Crew in all competitions, a stretch which includes a four-year period when current Revolution head coach Caleb Porter was leading Columbus (2019-22). Most notably the Revs suffered a pair of heavy defeats to the Crew last season, but they'll be hoping their newfound defensive resolve can turn the tides.

New England's new-look backline helped keep a clean sheet in last weekend's season opener at GEODIS Park, where the Revs (0-0-1, 1 pt.) played out a 0-0 draw with Nashville SC. The defensive performance represents a positive foundational building block for the Revs, who conceded 74 goals last season. The objective as they now return to Foxborough will be to improve upon last year's home form at Gillette Stadium, where they went 5-8-4 in 2024.

Columbus (1-0-0, 3 pts.), meanwhile, opened the season with a goal-fest at Lower.com Field, where they scored three times in the first half en route to a 4-2 victory over Chicago Fire FC. It was a continuation of last year's prolific Crew attack which scored 72 goals, second-most in MLS, despite the offseason departure of leading scorer Cucho Hernández.

The Revs will be home for three of their four games in the month of March, hosting the Philadelphia Union next weekend (March 8) before closing the month at New York City FC (March 15) and at home against the New York Red Bulls (March 29).

Saturday night will be the official debut of the "Eastern White Pine" kit, which will serve as the club's Community kit for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Inspired by the Flag of New England on the 250th anniversary of its first use by New England colonies in the Revolutionary War, this is the first time in a decade that the Revs have paid homage to the historic Flag of New England in their kit design. While the Flag of New England has regularly been featured as a minor accent on the club's jerseys, the new kit's design iterates on past tributes by focusing on the Eastern White Pine featured on the flag.

This is the first season-long Revolution uniform to feature Forest Green as the leading color, accented by the club’s Heritage Blue, paired with white shorts and white socks.
