MATCH FOR C.H.A.N.G.E.
Highlighting this year's "Match for C.H.A.N.G.E." initiatives, Revolution jerseys for Saturday night's match will feature unique numbers designed by local BAMS Fest affiliated artist, Curtistic. Following the match, all game-worn jerseys will be autographed and made available for auction, with proceeds benefitting BAMS Fest.
While those unique jerseys will be worn on the field, several players will also arrive to Gillette Stadium wearing apparel from local Black owned business, Speak our Peace, featuring shirts from the "Speak Out Speak Up" collection.
The national anthem will be performed by local BAMS Fest affiliated artist Kasia, while the National Black Doll Museum of History & Culture will be set up on the concourse featuring dolls representing the history of soccer and the Revs. At halftime, there will be an on-field dance performance by OrigiNation.
Details on UnitedHealthcare's "Bring the Food" initiative, benefitting local food pantry Rose's Bounty, are below.
RECENT FORM VS. D.C. UNITED
Gustavo Bou and Noel Buck struck late on to lift the Revs to a comeback, 2-1 win over D.C. United on March 25 at Audi Field, continuing New England's recent run of dominance in this series. Dating back to August 2020 the Revs have won eight of the last nine meetings with their fellow MLS original, while they're 8-1-3 overall since Bruce Arena took charge in May 2019. The gap between the sides has been even more apparent in Foxborough, where the Revs are 7-0-5 in their last 12 encounters with D.C., an unbeaten stretch that dates back more than a decade.
After seeing their seven-game unbeaten run snapped in controversial fashion last weekend at Red Bull Arena, the Revs (11-4-7, 40 pts.) found a strong response midweek against Atlanta United, riding early goals from Matt Polster and Giacomo Vrioni - and a career-high 10-save performance from goalkeeper Djordje Petrović - to a 2-1 victory. The result also improved New England's record to 8-0-3 at Gillette Stadium as the Revs remain one of just two teams leaguewide (along with MLS leaders FC Cincinnati) to be unbeaten at their home ground.
D.C. (8-9-6, 30 pts.) will bring fresh legs to Foxborough having not played since last weekend's 2-2 draw with Inter Miami, a result that keeps Wayne Rooney's side four points above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference. The past month has brought renewed spirit to the Nation's Capital as D.C. have taken seven points (2-1-1) from the last four games, including a comprehensive 3-0 win over FC Cincinnati and a rugged 1-0 road victory over FC Dallas. In fact, United's four road wins are tied for most in the Eastern Conference.
Saturday's game - the Revolution's second at home in a span of four days - will be New England's last in league play until August 20, as MLS breaks for Leagues Cup following this weekend's action. The Revs will visit the New York Red Bulls (July 22) and host Club Atlético de San Luis (July 26) in the group stage of that competition.
Overall Record vs. D.C. United: 39-40-16
Home Record vs. D.C. United: 24-11-9
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 1, D.C. United 0 (August 13, 2022)
Last meeting at Audi Field: Revs 2, D.C. United 1 (March 25, 2023)

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Saturday night the Revs will wear their brand new "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform for the 2023 and 2024 MLS seasons.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
