RECENT FORM VS. D.C. UNITED

This series has been dominated by New England for the past four years, with the Revs going 9-2-0 in 11 meetings with D.C. United since August 2020, including five straight wins at Gillette Stadium while outscoring their fellow MLS original 13-5 in Foxborough. One of D.C.'s two wins during that stretch, however, came in the only previous meeting this season, with Christian Benteke scoring all three goals in United's 3-1 win over the 10-man Revs in the regular season opener on February 24 at Audi Field.

The Revs (9-18-4, 31 pts.) remain mathematically alive in the Eastern Conference playoff race despite their midweek loss to Houston Dynamo FC, though chances are admittedly slim with six points separating New England from 9th place and just three games remaining. Caleb Porter was nevertheless pleased with his side's performance in Wednesday's 2-1 loss at Shell Energy Stadium, and the Revs will be buoyed by a 1-0 win over Nashville SC in their most recent game at Gillette Stadium last weekend.

D.C. (9-13-10, 37 pts.) also enter the weekend below the playoff line in the East, though only by virtue of tiebreakers as United are tied on 37 points alongside 9th-place Toronto FC and 10th-place Philadelphia Union. D.C.'s postseason hopes received a massive boost on Wednesday night as Troy Lesesne's side overcame a 3-2 stoppage time deficit, scoring twice through Gabriel Pirani in the 94th and 97th minutes to claim a potentially season-saving 4-3 win in Nashville.

Saturday night's visit from D.C. United is the Revolution's regular season home finale, as they'll close the campaign on the road with trips to face the Columbus Crew (Oct. 12) and Inter Miami CF (Oct. 19).

Overall Record vs. D.C. United: 40-41-16
Home Record vs. D.C. United: 26-11-9

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 4, D.C. United 0 (July 15, 2023)
Last meeting at Audi Field: D.C. United 3, Revs 1 (February 24, 2024)

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.

Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.

The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
