RECENT FORM VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION

The Union were comfortable winners in both meetings last year - claiming a 3-0 win over the Revs at Gillette Stadium and a 5-1 victory at Subaru Park - part of a larger stretch in which Philly have won four of the last five meetings dating back to the summer of 2022. The Revs have found some measure of success in Foxborough, however, going 2-1-1 in their last four meetings with the Union on their home field.

New England (0-1-1, 1 pt.) have been one of the league's most resolute defensive teams through the season's first two weeks, securing a 0-0 road draw with Nashville SC before last weekend's narrow 1-0 home loss to the Columbus Crew. The Revs are one of just two teams in the Eastern Conference (along with the New York Red Bulls) to have conceded just a single goal through two games, but they're also one of just two teams in the East (along with Nashville) still in search of their first goal of the campaign.

The Revolution's resolve will be put to the test on Saturday night against the Union (2-0-0, 6 pts.), who lead MLS with eight goals scored courtesy of a 4-2 road win over Orlando City SC and a 4-1 home triumph over FC Cincinnati. Tai Baribo has led the charge and made a bit of MLS history in the process, becoming just the fourth player through the league's 30 seasons to record at least five goals in the first two games of the year. Baribo, an Israeli international, scored two goals in the win over Orlando before bagging a hat trick this past weekend against Cincinnati.

The Revs will return to the road next weekend for a visit to New York City FC at Yankee Stadium (March 15), before returning to Foxborough to close out the month at home against the New York Red Bulls (March 29).

Overall Record vs. Union: 11-25-8
Home Record vs. Union: 6-8-5

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Union 3, Revs 0 (May 18, 2024)
Last meeting at Subaru Park: Union 5, Revs 1 (July 17, 2024)

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform once again in 2025.

Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.

The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
