Gustavo Bou has been red hot since returning from injury in late May, registering three goals and one assist in his last four appearances as the Revs have gone 2-0-2 in that stretch. The Argentine forward was honored with an MLS Team of the Week nod after registering an assist in the Revs' 1-1 draw with Orlando City SC and an absolutely stunning winner in their 2-1 victory over Minnesota United FC.
Bou first helped set up Carles Gil's wonder strike against Orlando with a brilliant solo run, weaving past multiple defenders before playing wide to Gil. It was Bou's first assist of the season after racking up nine last year.
The best was yet to come, however, as Bou delivered a dagger on Sunday night against Minnesota, scoring the game winner with an absolutely perfect free kick into the top left corner. That goal is currently up for MLS Goal of the Week.
