Carles Gil was at the center of this past weekend's 2-0 win over Inter Miami CF, and as a result the New England Revolution captain landed on the MLS Team of the Week for the second time this season.
Gil registered his fourth assist of the season on Damian Rivera's game-winning goal in the first minute, but that was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the reigning MVP's contributions. In addition to a career-high 117 touches, Gil generated six chances created and is now tied for the league lead in that category with 35 chances created.
