Andrew Farrell made a milestone appearance on Wednesday night, matching Shalrie Joseph's record for most starts in New England Revolution history (254). To mark the occasion, Farrell earned MLS Team of the Week honors after helping the Revs keep yet another clean sheet in their 0-0 draw with Nashville SC.
The 29-year-old center back, who is on course to break the club appearance record in the coming weeks, set a new career high with 21 possessions gained against Nashville, 10 more than any of his Revolution teammates. Farrell is the only Revolution player to have played all 1,620 minutes this season, and also the only player to have started all 18 games.
Farrell and the Revs - currently atop the Supporters' Shield standings - will be back in action on Sunday evening when they'll host the Philadelphia Union at Gillette Stadium (6 p.m. ET, TV38, myRITV, 98.5 The Sports Hub, WBIX 1260 AM Nossa Radio).
