FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will face the LA Galaxy in MLS Cup 2014 at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. on Sunday, December 7. That game will kick off at 3 p.m. and will be shown nationally on ESPN and UniMas.
The Revolution, who won Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference Championship on Saturday after beating the New York Red Bulls 4-3 on aggregate, will be playing in MLS Cup for the fifth time in club history. This will be the third time that the Revolution face the Galaxy in MLS Cup, with the Revs suffering 1-0 defeats in extra time of MLS Cup 2002 and MLS Cup 2005. The Galaxy qualified for MLS Cup by claiming the Western Conference Championship earlier tonight, beating Seattle Sounders FC.
