FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (10-9-9, 39 pts.) and Toronto FC (10-10-8, 38 pts.) played to a 1-1 draw at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening. Gustavo Bou scored the game-tying goal in the 86th minute to secure a point for New England, helping the club retain the sixth spot on the Eastern Conference table through this week’s MLS action. Toronto FC's Nicolas Benezet scored the visitor's lone goal in the 75th minute, when he headed in a rebound at the back post after a save by Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Bou extended his goal-scoring streak to four games, and now has six goals and one assist through his first eight MLS appearances. His six goals are second-most on the Revolution this season, as he closes the gap with Carles Gil (nine) for the team lead. Diego Fagundez registered his third assist of the season on Bou's tally, and is now five assists shy of becoming the first player in Revolution history to reach 50 goals and 50 assists. Turner registered five saves in tonight's contest, giving him 55 stops on the season. He has recorded at least four saves in each of the Revolution's last seven games.

·The Revolution played Toronto FC to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night, moving the club's record to 10-9-9 (39 pts.) on the season, including a 7-5-3 record at Gillette Stadium.
·New England's all-time record against Toronto moves to 13-8-10, including a 10-2-5 mark in games played in Foxborough. The draw extends New England's home unbeaten run against TFC to eight games (5-0-3).
·With the draw, New England (39 points; 28 games played) moves within two points of the New York Red Bulls (41 points; 29 games played), currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand, and three points back of D.C. United (42 points; 30 games played), currently in fourth place with two games in hand.
Bou Extends Goal-Scoring Streak to Four Games
·Gustavo Bou scored for a fourth consecutive game in tonight's contest, giving him six goals to go with one assist through his first eight MLS appearances.
·Since Bou made his MLS debut on July 17, only three players – Atlanta's Josef Martinez (9), LA's Zlatan Ibrahimović (9), and LAFC's Carlos Vela (8) – have scored more goals. New York City FC's Heber has also scored six times over that time frame.
·Bou is the third Revolution player to score in four straight games this season, joining Carles Gil, who scored in four consecutive matches between July 12 and July 27, andTeal Bunbury, who accomplished the feat from June 29 through July 17.
·In total, Bou has logged 688 minutes played across eight starts, with six goals and one assist.
Fagundez Registers Assist; Nears 50-50 Club
·Diego Fagundez registered his third assist of the season on Gustavo Bou's equalizer. Fagundez has recorded two goals and two assists in substitute appearances this season.
·The 24-year old now owns 45 assists for his regular season career. With five more assists, he will become the first player in Revolution history and the fourth active MLS player to reach 50 goals and 50 assists.
·On the season, the Homegrown Player from Leominster, Mass. has made 21 appearances with 11 starts, contributing two goals and three assists.
Turner Records Five Saves in Draw
·Goalkeeper Matt Turner submitted five saves in tonight's match, giving him 60 stops on the season, per Opta. This season, Turner owns a 7-2-5 record with 18 goals conceded in 15 starts.
·Since taking over as the Revolution's starting goalkeeper on May 8, only seven MLS goalkeepers have registered more saves than his 60.
·With two more stops, Turner will surpass Juergen Sommer (62) for seventh place on the club's all-time saves list.
