FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (3-1-1; 10 pts.) extended the club's unbeaten run to four games with a decisive 4-0 win against the Montreal Impact (2-3-0; 6 pts) at Gillette Stadium on Friday evening. Teal Bunbury opened the scoring for a second consecutive match six minutes after Montreal's Saphir Taïder was issued a red card for violent conduct. Defender Andrew Farrell delivered an insurance goal in first-half stoppage time – the first of his MLS career in 164 appearances – while Diego Fagundez and Wilfried Zahibo tallied on the other side of halftime to secure all three points for the home side.

Zahibo, an MLS newcomer, opened his MLS account in the 80^th minute and recorded his third assist of the season on Teal Bunbury's opening goal. Four other Revolution players – Gabriel Somi, Diego Fagundez, Juan Agudelo, and Kelyn Rowe – also contributed assists in tonight's contest. Somi's assist was his second in as many games, while Rowe recorded two helpers after entering the match as a substitute in the 65^th minute. Rowe's second assist was the 40^th of his career and moves him into a tie with Chris Tierney for third most in club history.

The Revolution benefitted from an early red card for the second straight game, the first time that has happened since 2014, and capitalized with a second consecutive clean sheet. Goalkeeper Matt Turner, whose 18 saves are fourth most in MLS, is currently riding a 195-minute shutout streak.

New England returns to action next Saturday, April 14, when the club hosts FC Dallas at Gillette Stadium for the only meeting between the two sides this season. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Boston, where Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama will be on the call. • The Revolution defeated Montreal, 4-0, on Friday, bringing the club’s record to 3-1-1 (10 pts.) through five matches of the 2018 regular season.
• New England is now unbeaten in its last four matches (3-0-1) and its last 11 matches at home. The Revs have posted a 9-0-2 mark at Gillette Stadium since July 22, 2017.
• The Revolution reached the 10-point threshold through five games for the second time in club history (13 points through five games in 2005).
• New England's all-time record against Montreal moves to 8-7-2, including a 4-3-1 mark at home. The Revs’ winning streak against the Impact now stands at five games dating back to Sept. 17, 2016.

Revolution Benefit From Opposing Red Card in Second Consecutive Contest

• The Revolution finished tonight's match up a man due to an opponent red card for a second consecutive match. Montreal's Saphir Taïder was sent off for a challenge on midfielder Luis Caicedo in the 12^th minute of tonight's match.
• Prior to tonight, the last time New England saw consecutive opponents receive red cards was July 30, 2014 vs. Colorado (Thomas Piermayr) and Aug. 2, 2014 at New York (Matt Miazga).

Turner, Revs Post Second Consecutive Clean Sheet

• Goalkeeper Matt Turner recorded two saves en route to his second consecutive shutout, also the second of his MLS career.
• Turner, who has started all five of New England's matches to open the season, boasts a goal s against average of 1.00 and 18 saves to date. His 18 saves are currently fourth best in MLS.

Bunbury Opens 2018 Scoring Account

• Forward Teal Bunbury recorded a goal for a second consecutive match in tonight's contest. Bunbury now has 38 goals in his career, including 19 with the Revolution.
• Bunbury becomes the second Revolution player this season to tally in consecutive matches, joining midfielder Diego Fagundez, who accomplished the feat on March 10 vs. Colorado and March 24 vs. New York City FC.

Farrell Records First Career Goal in Milestone Match

• Somi is the second Revolution player to record an assist in consecutive matches, as forward/midfielder Cristian Penilla's streak of three matches with an assist came to an end this evening.
