FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (2-1-1; 7 pts.) defeated the Houston Dynamo (1-2-1; 4 pts.), 2-0, at BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday evening. Forward Teal Bunbury opened the scoring in the 15th minute and Cristian Penilla delivered an insurance goal – the first of his MLS career – in the 71st minute to secure New England its first away win of the season. Dynamo defender DaMarcus Beasley was issued a red card in the 35th minute, which gave the Revolution a one-man advantage for the remaining 55 minutes of the match.

Penilla recorded an assist for a third consecutive match in addition to his 71st minute goal, leaving the newcomer only one behind LAFC's Diego Rossi for the league lead in assists. Midfielder Luis Caicedo, another newcomer who joined the Revolution last week, played all 90 minutes in his first career MLS start and contributed the secondary assist on Teal Bunbury's game-winning goal.

Goalkeeper Matt Turner made a career-high six saves en route to his first career shutout and the Revolution's first clean sheet of the season.

New England returns to action next Friday, April 6, when the club hosts the Montreal Impact at Gillette Stadium for the first of three meetings this season. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast locally on myTV38 (WSBK-TV), where Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama will be on the call.
