MONTREAL – The New England Revolution (13-15-6; 45 pts.) defeated the Montreal Impact (11-17-6; 39 pts.), 3-2, to conclude the 2017 MLS regular season. Midfielder Kelyn Rowe notched his first goal of the season in the sixth minute of stoppage time, midfielder Diego Fagundez registered a goal and an assist, while forward Krisztián Németh scored his first goal as a Revolution player. The win was New England's fourth consecutive victory over the Montreal Impact, and the club's first road win of the year.

Midfielder Diego Fagundez opened the scoring for the Revs, finishing a rebound opportunity from a shot off the post in the 19^th minute of action. Montreal's Patrice Bernier then  leveled the scoreline by converting a penalty kick in first-half stoppage time following a handball by Benjamin Angoua inside the 18-yard box.

Shortly after the start of the second half, Fagundez intercepted a pass in Montreal's own third and threaded a pass to Németh, who converted a shot from inside the 18-yard box to reclaim the Revs' lead. The Impact equalized for the second time in the 90^th minute as Matteo Mancosu's low shot beat Brad Knighton, but Kelyn Rowe provided the Revs' latest game-winning goal of the season, firing a shot from beyond the 18-yard box to stun Montreal goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Revolution Defeat Montreal Impact, 3-2

• The Revolution defeated the Montreal Impact, 3-2, on Sunday to improve the club’s record to 13-15-6 (45 pts.) to conclude the 2017 MLS regular season.
• With the win, New England finishes the 2017 MLS regular season recording points in three consecutive contests, and in four out of the last five matches.
• New England's all-time record against Montreal improves to 7-7-2, including a 4-4-1 mark in matches played at Stade Saputo. 

Revolution Extend Win Streak over Montreal to Four Games, Claim First Road Win

• Tonight's victory was the Revolution fourth consecutive win over the Montreal Impact, which is New England's longest active winning streak against an MLS opponent. Earlier this season, the Revs defeated the Impact 1-0 on Sept. 9 at Gillette Stadium.
• New England's Decision Day victory over Montreal marks the Revs' first road win of the 2017 MLS season. Prior to today, New England's last road triumph also came against Montreal, with a 3-1 win on Sept. 17, 2016.

Rowe Hits Stoppage Time Winner in Return from Injury

• Midfielder Kelyn Rowe recorded his first goal of the 2017 MLS Regular Season in dramatic fashion, tallying the game-winning goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time in today's match. Rowe entered the match as an 87^th minute substitute, replacing midfielder Diego Fagundez, marking his first appearance since suffering an injury at New York City FC on Aug. 19.
• Rowe concludes the 2017 MLS regular season with one goal and seven assists in 23 appearances, including 21 starts.
• Forward Kei Kamara registered the game-winning assist on Rowe's stoppage time goal. The assist was Kamara's fifth of 2017.

Németh Tallies First Revolution Goal

• Forward Krisztián Németh recorded his first goal as a Revolution player in today's match. Németh has made six appearances this season, including three starts, since joining the club on Aug. 9. The forward notched his first Revolution assist in his first appearance, a 4-0 win over Orlando City SC on Sept. 2.

Fagundez Scores Third Goal in Last Two Matches

• Midfielder Diego Fagundez found the back of the net for the third time in the Revolution's last two matches in the 19^th minute of today's contest. Fagundez has made 32 appearances, including 27 starts, on the season and has registered seven goals with eight assists.
• Fagundez most recently recorded goals in back-to-back matches earlier this season, when he scored on May 13 vs. Real Salt Lake and followed that effort with a brace on May 21 vs. Columbus Crew SC.

Fagundez Records Career-High Eighth Assist

• Midfielder Diego Fagundez registered an assist on Krisztián Németh's 46^th minute strike. The assist was Fagundez's eighth assist of the season, setting a new career high. Fagundez's previous single-season high of seven assists was recorded during the 2013 season.
• Fagundez currently ranks seventh among the club's all-time assist leaders with 32 career assists.

Knighton Makes Seven Saves, Surpasses 100 Saves as Revolution Player

• Goalkeeper Brad Knighton registered six saves in tonight's 2-1 victory, giving him 102 saves in his Revolution career.

Farrell Registers Fifth Consecutive 30-Start Season

• Defender Andrew Farrell made his 30^th start of the season in today's match. The Louisville native has been a staple for the Revolution backline, starting in at least 30 matches in every season since being drafted first overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. This season, Farrell set a career high in assists, recording three helpers on the year.
• Farrell has made 158 starts for the Revolution, which is eighth most in club history. Taylor Twellman ranks seventh for starts as a Revolution player with 163 starts.

Kamara Claims Revolution's Golden Boot for 2017 MLS Season

• Forward Kei Kamara finished the 2017 season with more goals than any other Revolution player, earning him the team's Golden Boot. Kamara's 12 goals on the season is the highest single-season total for a Revolution player since Lee Nguyen registered 18 goals in 2014, when he was a Landon Donovan MVP Award finalist.
• Kamara finished the season in strong form, posting nine of his 12 goals over the last 15 contests of the MLS regular season. The forward netted his first career hat trick at Gillette stadium on Sept. 2, a 4-0 victory over Orlando City SC.

Revolution Make One Change to Starting XI

• Revolution Interim Head Coach Tom Soehn made one change to the club’s starting lineup from its most recent MLS match on Oct. 15 vs. New York City FC, as Juan Agudelo replaced Lee Nguyen.
