Happy hump day! On this Wednesday I have a special first time ever headline for you … TWO people in the Boot Room Breakdown!

Jeff Lemieux couldn’t decide whom he wanted in the Boot Room, so he brought Diego Fagundez and Lee Nguyen in to talk about the goal they combined for against NYCFC. 

The Sun Chronicle did a write up on the solid play of Chris Tierney. They spoke to him about the MLS All-Star selection and he told them, “To be honest, I was surprised, it was unexpected. It feels great to be recognized by other people within the game.” The article goes on to discuss his exceptional play, and contributions as a leader on the Revolution.

The Revolution snapped their five game winless streak Saturday night against NYCFC, and that has reinvigorated fans who are optimistic that the team’s struggles are behind them. Last week the Revolution hosted Massachusetts soccer players from Special Olympics Unified Sports for a day of fun at Gillette Stadium. The Special Olympic Athletes got autographs at training, and even signed their own player contracts. The events culminated in a soccer game between the respective Special Olympic teams from the Revolution and NYCFC.
