FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution received $75,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $100,000 in 2024 GAM from Charlotte FC in exchange for a 2023 International Roster Spot.
The Revolution currently have no International Roster Spots remaining for the 2023 season following Tuesday’s trade. Revolution midfielder Carles Gil received his U.S. Green Card, qualifying him as a domestic player for MLS roster purposes, while forward Gustavo Bou remains in Argentina and is expected to receive his Green Card shortly.
The Revolution will conclude its five-match preseason schedule on Saturday, February 18 at Orlando City SC. The match at Exploria Stadium begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.
