ORLANDO, FLA. – The New England Revolution (7-7-8, 28 pts.) played Orlando City SC to a 3-3 draw at Orlando City Stadium (7-14-2, 23 pts.) on Saturday evening. New England jumped out to an early lead with goals from Juan Agudelo and Cristian Penilla, but Orlando City pulled level with goals on either side of halftime. The Revs regained the advantage with Teal Bunbury’s 11^th goal of the season before Orlando secured a point with a stoppage-time equalizer.

Juan Agudelo opened the scoring in the seventh minute off a long throw in from Brandon Bye, heading it inside the near post. Cristian Penilla doubled the lead in the 18^th minute, capitalizing on a turnover from Orlando City’s Sacha Kljestan. Luis Caicedo forced the ball free and found Penilla, who buried his shot in the upper right corner for his ninth goal of the year.

Despite several first-half chances for the Revolution, Orlando pulled one back just before halftime with a goal from Dom Dwyer in the 45^th minute. Orlando equalized in the second half with a goal off the head of Amro Tarek in the 71^st minute. Substitute Teal Bunbury put New England back in front with his career-high 11^th goal of the season, but Scott Sutter tallied for the home side in stoppage time to force the 3-3 draw.

New England returns to action on Saturday, Aug. 11, when the Revolution host the Philadelphia Union in the club’s only home match in August. The contest kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston, with Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama on the call. • Forward Cristian Penilla scored following a turnover forced by midfielder Luis Caicedo in the 18^th minute. Caicedo picked the pocket of Orlando’s Sacha Kljestan to put Penilla one on one with the goalkeeper, who he beat to the upper right corner for his ninth goal of the season.
• With nine goals, Penilla is now tied for the 12^th most among all MLS players.
• New England is now one of four MLS clubs with two nine-goal scorers – Cristian Penilla (9) and Teal Bunbury (11) – along with Chicago Fire, Houston Dynamo, and LA Galaxy.

Agudelo Scores in Seventh Minute

• Forward Juan Agudelo equaled the second-fastest goal of the club’s season in the seventh minute when he headed a throw in from Brandon Bye inside the near post to put the Revs up 1-0.
• Agudelo appeared in his 175^th career regular season match in tonight’s contest. He now has 42 career goals and 31 as a Revolution player, including two this season.

Machado Makes MLS and Revolution Debut

• Midfielder Cristhian Machado made his MLS and Revolution debut as a substitute in the 87^th minute.
• Machado signed with the Revolution on July 23 after 11 seasons in Bolivia’s top division with C.D. Jorge Wilstermann.

Revolution Make Two Changes to Starting XI

• Revolution Head Coach Brad Friedel made two changes to the club’s starting lineup from its most recent match on July 21 at New York Red Bulls. Midfielder Scott Caldwell and defender Brandon Bye replaced forward Teal Bunbury and defender Claude Dielna, respectively.
