FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution’s Under-18 and Under-16 teams were back in action on April 23, playing BW Gottschee in Brooklyn, N.Y.
WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
- Forward Gabriel Meireles continued his recent run of form, scoring again this week. He now has 10 goals on the season.
- Midfielder Jonathan Ferreira recorded his first assist at the U-16 level. Ferreira recorded four assists at the U-14 level this season.
- Goalkeeper Trey Miller has allowed just two goals in three matches since the beginning of 2016, good for a goals against average of 0.66.
- Forward Justin Rennicks was not available for selection due to his call-up to the United States Under-18 National Team’s training camp in Chula Vista, Calif.
