Amputee Soccer returns to Gillette Stadium this season! The New England Revolution Amputee Soccer Team will take on the New York Metro Amputee Soccer Team following the conclusion of the first team’s match.

AMPUTEE SOCCER GAME

Following on the success of last year's first-ever, full-length amputee soccer match at a major U.S. stadium, the New England Amputee Soccer Association (representing the Revs) will once again host the Metro NY Amputee Soccer Team (representing NYCFC) as part of a doubleheader with Saturday night's first team match at Gillette Stadium.

Revolution defender Will Sands was recently named the club's ambassador for the New England Amputee Soccer Association, attending the team's training session on the evening of Tuesday, April 15. The Revs, as part of Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, continue their longstanding support of amputee soccer by outfitting the NEASA with brand new uniforms, including goalkeeper kits and adidas backpacks, while also inviting the team to hold monthly training sessions at the Revolution Training Center.

Fans are highly encouraged to stay after the first team match on Saturday night to support these incredible athletes. For every ticket purchased for the Revs-NYCFC match through THIS LINK, $5 will be donated to New England Amputee Soccer.

More information on amputee soccer and the New England Amputee Soccer Association can be found HERE.

COMMEMORATIVE TICKET GIVEAWAY

Available at all gates while supplies last on Saturday night, this commemorative ticket honors the Revolution's inaugural home opener on April 27, 1996, a shootout win over D.C. United at Foxboro Stadium.

ONE PLANET PRE-MATCH JERSEY

The Revs will don this year's adidas One Planet pre-match top on Saturday night in honor of the MLS Greener Goals Week of Service and Earth Week. Inspired by reforestation and natural ecosystems, the Revolution's "One Planet, One Chance" warmup jersey features a yellow hue representing the soil, and is crafted entirely from recycled materials.

RECENT FORM VS. NEW YORK CITY FC

This will be the second meeting between these sides in just over a month, as the Revs took an early lead but ultimately suffered a 2-1 loss to New York City FC on March 15 at Yankee Stadium. It was the Revolution's third straight loss in this series and stretched their winless run against NYCFC to five games (0-3-2) in the regular season, as the Cityzens have held the upper hand in recent years.

The Revs (2-4-1, 7 pts.) will bring a bit of momentum into Saturday night's showdown, however, boosted by this past weekend's 1-0 road win over Atlanta United FC courtesy of Carles Gil's team-leading third goal of the season and a five-save, shutout effort from Aljaž Ivačič. Combined with a 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls in their last home game on March 29, the Revs have now won two of their last three and are up to 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.

NYCFC (3-3-2, 11 pts.) are coming off a 1-0 win of their own, Alonso Martínez scoring his fifth goal of the season in a home triumph over the Philadelphia Union this past Saturday. That victory snapped a three-game winless run (0-2-1) for NYCFC, who are also winless in four road games (0-2-2) through the early part of the campaign.

Saturday's game is merely a brief return to Foxborough for the Revs, who will be back out on the road for three straight (and six of their next seven through the end of May) after this weekend.

Overall Record vs. NYCFC: 10-11-8

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will wear the "Eastern White Pine" kit, which will serve as the club's Community kit for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Inspired by the Flag of New England on the 250th anniversary of its first use by New England colonies in the Revolutionary War, this is the first time in a decade that the Revs have paid homage to the historic Flag of New England in their kit design. While the Flag of New England has regularly been featured as a minor accent on the club's jerseys, the new kit's design iterates on past tributes by focusing on the Eastern White Pine featured on the flag.

This is the first season-long Revolution uniform to feature Forest Green as the leading color, accented by the club’s Heritage Blue, paired with white shorts and white socks.

You can purchase your "Eastern White Pine" kit HERE.
