United on Saturday, saying the offense must be able to match the defense’s production in order for New England to solidify their spot in the playoff chase. The last 5-0 win against the LA Galaxy helped grabbed people’s attention, but the Revolution have shown that they can be consistent defensively as seen against D.C. United on Saturday.

Although the Revs felt like they should have had a win against D.C. United on Saturday, the team does not view the game as a setback. Danny Picard of CSNNE.com believes D.C. is a solid club despite their poor record, and New England will only get stronger from Saturday’s game. Picard also discusses how the Revs maintained offensive pressure against United, but were not able to capitalize.
