This will be just the second-ever match between the New England Revolution and FC Cincinnati, as 2019 is the inaugural season for the league's most recent expansion side. However, this will be the first time these two teams meet at Cincinnati's temporary stomping ground at Nippert Stadium.
The Revs fell 2-0 to FC Cincinnati in their only previous meeting at Gillette Stadium in March. However, there has been a sea change in New England since the beginning of the season. Now under the leadership of sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena, the Revs plan to turn the tables on the expansion side to continue their current form and extend their nine-game unbeaten run to 10 on Sunday.
As the Revs look to take advantage of this big six-point Eastern Conference opportunity, this will be a must-watch match.

The Revs will be sporting their sleek new secondary kits, which take inspiration from uniforms the colonial generals wore in the Revolutionary War.
These jerseys sport a white front with light blue sides and sleeves, and are tied together with navy blue trim. The light blue sides continue to cover the back of the jersey, topped near the neckline with the classic image of the Flag of New England.
