RECENT FORM VS. CHICAGO FIRE FC
The Revs and Fire made history when they played to a 1-1 stalemate on March 23 at Gillette Stadium, becoming the first MLS opponents to draw six consecutive meetings. Nacho Gil scored the Revolution's lone goal that afternoon in Foxborough, extending New England's unbeaten run in this series to 11 games (3-0-8), including positive results on their last five trips to Chicago (2-0-3).
Tomás Chancalay's goal after 37 seconds got the Revs off to a perfect start in front of a record crowd of 65,612 this past Saturday night at Gillette Stadium, but Lionel Messi (two goals, one assist) eventually took over to send New England to a third straight loss, 4-1 at the hands of league-leading Inter Miami. The Revs now stand at 1-7-1 through their first nine games, and they'll need to find a response on the road, where they'll play their next two matches.
Chicago have also struggled through the early part of the season, as their 18 goals against are tied with the Revs for most in the Eastern Conference. The Fire have had a particularly difficult go of it in recent weeks, shut out in four of their last five games, though they have managed a pair of 0-0 draws during that stretch. This will be Chicago's third straight home game, having suffered a 4-0 loss to Real Salt Lake before playing to a 0-0 draw with Atlanta this past weekend.
After setting a new single-game attendance record last weekend in Foxborough, the Revs will be back on the road the next two weekends for trips to Chicago and New York.

Saturday night the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.
Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
