RECENT FORM VS. ORLANDO CITY SC

It's been just two months since these sides met at Gillette Stadium, where the Revs scored first through Giacomo Vrioni only for Orlando to storm back and claim a 3-1 victory. That was the Lions' second straight win in this series, evening the record between these teams at 2-2-2 in the last six meetings dating back to 2021. The Revs did suffer a 3-2 loss on their most recent trip to Orlando last October, but they had been unbeaten on their four previous trips (1-0-3) to Inter&Co Stadium between 2018 and 2022.

New England (8-15-3, 27 pts.) played to a frustrating 2-2 draw with St. Louis CITY SC this past weekend in Foxborough, getting goals from Luca Langoni and Carles Gil to take a 2-1 lead into halftime, only to see the visitors respond after the break. That result leaves the Revs five points back of the playoff places in the East, though they do maintain at least one game in hand on all their fellow playoff contenders.

Orlando (10-10-7, 37 pts.) are right in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, both six points back of fourth place and the homefield advantage that would come with it, and six points above the playoff line. Oscar Pareja's side has been one of the league's in-form squads since mid-June, going 6-2-1 in their last nine games, including a comprehensive 3-0 romp over Nashville SC on August 31. That's part of a four-game unbeaten run (3-0-1) at Inter&Co Stadium, a solid response after starting the season 1-5-3 at home.

Saturday night kicks off a busy week for the Revs, who'll return home to host CF Montréal (September 18) midweek, before heading back out on the road next Saturday for a visit to Charlotte FC (September 21).

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform once again for the 2024 MLS season.

The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.

You can purchase the "Defiance" kit HERE.
