RECENT FORM VS. REAL SALT LAKE

This will be the Revolution's first visit to Utah in almost six years, as their last trip to the Beehive State was all the way back in October 2018. The Revs suffered a 4-1 loss on that visit to Sandy, part of their overall struggles at America First Field (formerly Rio Tinto Stadium), where they're 0-5-2 all time. These sides did play a memorable match two years ago at a snowy Gillette Stadium, where RSL scored three late goals to claim a 3-2 win. All told, the Revs are 2-2-2 against RSL since the start of the 2015 campaign.

New England (8-14-2, 26 pts.) stormed back into league play this past weekend, claiming a 5-0 win at CF Montréal to match the biggest margin of victory in club history. Bobby Wood stayed red hot with his third and fourth goals in his last three appearances, Carles Gil returned from injury with a pair of helpers to tie Steve Ralston for the club assists record in all competitions (82), and Luca Langoni became the first player in Revolution history to record both a goal and an assist in his club debut after coming off the bench in the 77th minute. It's a win that pushed the Revs up to 12th place in the East, just two points back of Atlanta for the ninth and final playoff spot with two games in hand.

Real Salt Lake (12-6-8, 44 pts.) currently sit third in the West and fifth in the Supporters' Shield standings, but they've hit something of a rough patch in the past month. This past weekend's 2-0 home loss to last-place San Jose leaves RSL with a record of 1-4-1 in their last six games in all competitions, including losses of 2-0 (vs. San Jose), 3-0 (at Houston), and 3-0 (at Portland) during that stretch. The hosts also seem likely to be without the services of MVP candidate and league leading scorer Chicho Arango (17 goals, 11 assists), who was forced off in the first half of the loss to San Jose with a hamstring injury.

After resuming league play with back-to-back road trips, the Revs will return to Gillette Stadium next Saturday night for their first-ever meeting with St. Louis CITY SC, one of just four remaining home games on the 2024 regular season schedule.

Overall Record vs. Real Salt Lake: 6-11-6
Away Record vs. Real Salt Lake: 2-6-3

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: RSL 3, Revs 2 (March 12, 2022)
Last meeting at America First Field: RSL 4, Revs 1 (October 18, 2018)

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform once again for the 2024 MLS season.

The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.

You can purchase the "Defiance" kit HERE.
