RECENT FORM VS. TORONTO FC
This will be the second and final regular season meeting of the year between the Revs and Toronto FC, who squared off at Gillette Stadium a little more than one month ago on March 3. New England outshot the visitors 19-8 that afternoon in Foxborough, but TFC ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a stellar showing from goalkeeper Sean Johnson, snapping the Revolution's five-game unbeaten run (3-0-2) in the series. The Revs have had plenty of recent success in Toronto, however, going 2-0-1 in their last three trips to BMO Field, including a 2-0 win last May.
Following last week's exit at the quarterfinal stage of Concacaf Champions Cup, the Revs turned their full attention to MLS ahead of this past Saturday's trip to Yankee Stadium. Fresh off his first MLS shutout in a 1-0 win over Charlotte FC, goalkeeper Henrich Ravas was solid yet again with a four-save effort, but New England struggled to generate an attack in a 2-0 loss to New York City FC. With just five goals scored through their first seven games of the regular season, the Revs will be aiming to break through north of the border on Saturday night.
Toronto FC have had something of a Jekyll and Hyde start to the 2024 season, beginning the year 3-1-1 with four clean sheets from their first five games. John Herdman's side has struggled mightily since, however, conceding 10 goals in their last three games, all losses, as they've dropped to ninth in the Eastern Conference. One of those losses was at home, a 3-1 defeat to Sporting KC in their last game at BMO Field on March 30.
In the midst of playing four of five games on the road, the Revs will return to Gillette Stadium next weekend to host Inter Miami CF in front of a massive crowd, with more than 60,000 tickets already sold for the Saturday night showdown.
Overall Record vs. Toronto FC: 16-11-13
Away Record vs. Toronto FC: 5-6-6
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Toronto FC 1, Revs 0 (March 3, 2024)
Last meeting at BMO Field: Revs 2, Toronto FC 0 (May 6, 2023)

Saturday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform once again for the 2024 MLS season.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
