RECENT FORM VS. CF MONTRÉAL
This will be the second meeting between these sides in less than a month, as the Revs returned from the Leagues Cup break with a comprehensive 5-0 win over CF Montréal on August 24 at Stade Saputo. Bobby Wood bagged a brace and Luca Langoni marked his debut with a goal and an assist that night, as the Revs claimed their second big victory over Montréal in the past two seasons following their 4-0 triumph at Gillette Stadium last April.
New England (8-16-3, 27 pts.) has hit a bit of a snag since routing Montréal three weeks ago, however, picking up just one point from the three games since (0-2-1) to drop into 15th place in the Eastern Conference standings. Despite that stretch, the Revs remain just six points back of the playoff places and maintain at least one game in hand on every team they're chasing, including two games in hand on Chicago, D.C., and Toronto. Taking the full three points on Wednesday night is likely a must for the Revs, who'll finish the season with four of their final six games away from home.
One of the teams between the Revs and the playoff places is CF Montréal (7-12-9, 30 pts.), who may well have salvaged their own postseason hopes with a 2-1 win over Charlotte FC this past weekend. That victory snapped a four-game winless run in league play (0-3-1) and leaves Montréal three points back of the wildcard spots in the East, and they'll play three of their final five games at home following Wednesday night's visit to Foxborough.
The Revs will wrap up their busy week by heading back out on the road, visiting Charlotte FC on Saturday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium.
Overall Record vs. CF Montréal: 17-13-3
Home Record vs. CF Montréal: 9-5-1
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 4, Montréal 0 (April 8, 2023)
Last meeting at Stade Saputo: Revs 5, Montréal 0 (August 24, 2024)

Wednesday night the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.
Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
