2024 CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP
The Concacaf Champions Cup 59th edition (previously known as the Concacaf Champions League) is the premier club soccer competition in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Contested by 27 of the top clubs in Concacaf, the tournament's final will be held on June 2, with the winner collecting a spot in the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, prize money, and regional bragging rights as the best club team in Concacaf.
Just three MLS teams remain in the 2024 edition of the competition: New England Revolution, Columbus Crew, and Inter Miami CF. Of those three, the Revs are the only MLS side to have advanced through both Round One and the Round of 16, as both Columbus (as MLS Cup winners) and Miami (as Leagues Cup winners) entered the competition in the Round of 16.
FC Cincinnati, Houston Dynamo FC, Nashville SC, Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union, St. Louis CITY SC, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC were also part of the original 27-team field, but have all been eliminated.
The Revs booked their place in the Quarterfinals with a pair of dominant victories over Central American foes. New England opened the competition with a 1-0 road win at CA Independiente in Panama, before closing out the Round One series with a 3-0 win at Gillette Stadium to complete a 4-0 aggregate triumph. That set up a Round of 16 showdown with LD Alajuelense, which began with a 4-0 home win before seeing out a 5-1 aggregate victory with a 1-1 draw in Costa Rica.
Tomás Chancalay has registered four goals in New England's four games - tied with Philadelphia's Julián Carranza for top scorer in the tournament - while Nacho Gil, Mark-Anthony Kaye, Nick Lima, Esmir Bajraktarević, and Giacomo Vrioni have also gotten on the scoresheet. Goalkeeper Henrich Ravas has kept three clean sheets in the competition, allowing just a single goal through four games.

CLUB AMÉRICA AND HISTORY VS. MEXICAN OPPONENTS
Club América, one of the most successful (and most popular) teams in North American history, has battled through two difficult series to reach the Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinals. The reigning LIGA MX champions were first pushed to the limit by Nicaraguan side Real Estelí, losing the first leg on the road, 2-1, before claiming a 2-0 victory in leg two for a 3-2 aggregate triumph. Las Águilas then ran up against bitter rival Chivas de Guadalajara in an all-Mexican Round of 16 showdown, racing out to a 3-0 lead after the first leg before dropping the second leg, 3-2, but going through 5-3 on aggregate.
While this will be the first meeting between New England and Club América, the Revs do have plenty of experience against Mexican opposition in Concacaf Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, and SuperLiga. In 14 all-time meetings with LIGA MX foes, the Revs have gone 9-2-3, including a 9-1-3 mark at Gillette Stadium. Most recently the Revs went 1-0-2 against Mexican sides in last year's Leagues Cup, rolling to a 5-1 win over Atlético de San Luis before draws with both Atlas (2-2) and Querétaro (1-1), all in Foxborough.

Tuesday night the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.
Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
