FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy Under-19 and Under-14 teams returned to MLS NEXT spring action last weekend to host Rochester NY FC on Saturday before the U-19s traveled to take on BW Gottschee Academy on Sunday.
The U-19s notched two more wins, shutting out Rochester, 2-0 before defeating BW Gottschee, 4-2. Garrett Holman (2206 – Hamburg, N.J.) and Gianluca Armellino (2005 – Plainville, Mass.) both tallied as Kevin Christensen (2006 – Natick, Mass.) kept the clean sheet on Saturday. Alex St. John (2005 – Needham, Mass.) notched a brace as Tyler Flowers (2005 – Sharon, Mass.) and Jason Zacarias (2004 – Billerica, Mass.) added to the scoring in the U-19s’ win over BW Gottschee on Sunday.
Kaleb Oliveira (2009 – Somerville, Mass.), Jonathan Cante (2009 – Pawtucket, R.I.), Judah Siqueira (2009 – South Easton, Mass.), Jayden Flores (2009 – Lowell, Mass.), and Tyler Bergquist (2009 – Colchester, Conn.) all found the scoresheet on Saturday as the U-14s recorded a 5-1 win over Rochester NY FC at Gillette Stadium.
