FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy continued their MLS NEXT spring season last weekend, hosting FC Boston Bolts and traveling to face FC Westchester.
The U-15s notched two wins, defeating the Boston Bolts 3-1 on Saturday and FC Westchester 2-1 on Sunday. Cliff-Grova Rwabira (2008 – Portland, M.E.) tallied in each game as Tommy Tsouros (2008 – Bow, N.H.) and Cristiano Carlos (2008 – Chicopee, Mass.) rounded out the scoring on Saturday while Grant Emerhi (2008 – Mansfield, Mass.) opened the scoring for New England on Sunday.
The U-14s also secured two victories over the weekend, beating the Bolts 2-1 and shutting out FC Westchester, 4-0. Kenny Mills (2009 – Brockton, Mass.) and Judah Siqueira (2009 – South Easton, Mass.) scored on Saturday while Radeen Alavi (2009 – Southborough, Mass.) notched a brace with Kaleb Oliveira (2009 – Somerville, Mass.) and Zackary Chaib (2009 – East Boston, Mass.) also tallying on Sunday as Reinner Fidelis (2009 – Peabody, Mass.) led his team to the clean sheet.
The U-17s went 1-0-1 on the weekend as Olger Escobar (2006 – Malden, Mass.) tallied his eighth goal of the year in his team’s 1-1 draw with the Boston Bolts. New England scored four in their 4-3 win over FC Westchester on Sunday with Josh Partal (2007 – Bangor, M.E.) opening the scoring and Eric Martinez (2006 – Perris, Calif.) tallying a hat trick to secure the victory.
The U-19s fell 1-0 in their match vs. the Boston Bolts and played FC Westchester to a 2-2 draw on Sunday. Tyler Flowers (2005 – Sharon, Mass.) and Gabriell de Godoi (2004 – Milford, Mass.) each scored in the match.
