FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – All four Revolution Academy teams continued their MLS NEXT fall seasons over the weekend, hosting New York Soccer Club on Saturday while the U-19s welcomed FC Westchester to Foxborough on Sunday.
The U-19s secured two wins over the weekend, defeating New York Soccer Club, 10-2, and earned a 4-1 victory over FC Westchester. Bryce Flowers (2005 – Sharon, Mass.) notched a hat trick on Saturday and scored again on Sunday while Tyler Flowers (2005 – Sharon, Mass.) tallied two goals on the weekend. Jason Zacarias (2004 – Billerica, Mass.) and Felipe Vieira De Andrade (2004 – Westborough, Mass.) also each notched a brace against New York Soccer Club.
The U-17s extended their unbeaten streak to six games on Saturday with a 3-2 win over NYSC. Eric Martinez (2006 – Perris, Calif.), Giuseppe Ciampa (2006 – Westwood, Mass.), and Raphael Alves (2007 – Framingham, Mass.) each scored while Owen Beninga (2007 – Jackson, W.Y.) earned the start in net.
The U-15s saw seven different goal scorers as they tallied eight times with goalkeeper Jose Goodman Millman (2008 – Cocheton, N.Y.) earning a shutout in their match. Crisitano Oliveira (2008 – Somerville, Mass.) notched a brace while Cristiano Carlos (2008 – Chicopee, Mass.) scored his team-leading third goal of the season. The U-14s fell in their match, 2-1. Judah Siqueira (2009 – South Easton, Mass.) scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 16th minute on Saturday.
The U-14s are set to host FA Euro New York and Valeo FC this weekend while the U-15s, U-17s, and U-19s will return to action in November. · Cristiano Oliveira (2008 – Somerville, Mass.) scored twice while Braydon Fagundes (2008 – Warwick, R.I.), Cristiano Carlos (2008 – Chicopee, Mass.), Thomas Tsouros (2008 – Bow, N.H.), Luis Fontalvo (2008 – Central Falls, R.I.), Grant Emerhi (2008 – Mansfield, Mass.), and Alvin Depina (2007 – Boston, Mass.) all tallied in the U-15s’ 8-0 victory over NYSC.
· Judah Siqueira (2009 – South Easton, Mass.) scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season with the U-14s on Saturday.
· Academy graduate Jack Panayotou (2004 – Cambridge, Mass.) scored his fourth goal of the season enroute to Georgetown’s 3-0 win over Xavier over the weekend.
