FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have announced Revolution Academy coaching assignments for the 2018-19 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season. With nine full-time coaches on staff, each of the five Revolution Academy teams will continue to benefit from full-time, A-licensed coaches dedicated to them as part of the fully-funded development program.
"We're excited to move forward with a talented and familiar staff as we look ahead to the start of next season," Revolution Academy Director of Youth Development Bryan Scales said. "We believe continuity is important for the development of our players at all age groups as we continue to expand and grow with our program year over year."
While the coaches for next season will be the same staff from this year, a progression will take place in the club's three oldest age groups. Current Under-19 Head Coach Bryan Scales will shift to being the head coach of the U-15s as they prepare for Generation adidas Cup competition and additional MLS programming. Meanwhile, Patrick Ouckama and Marcelo Santos will move up with their current age groups to be the head coaches of the Under-17s and Under-19s, respectively.
