FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution Academy defender Peyton Miller (2007 – Unionville, Conn.) has been called up to the U.S. Under-17 Youth National Team for a training camp in Palm Beach, Fla. from April 17-24 in preparation for FIFA U-17 World Cup in November.
Miller, 15, makes his fourth appearance with the U.S. Youth National Team, his first with the Under-17 squad and is one of four players on the roster born in 2007. The Unionville, Conn. native most recently appeared with the U-16s in January for a camp in Tampa, Fla. following his first appearance with the U-16s in the Football Federations Cup in Albir, Spain. Miller’s first national team call-up came in February 2022 for a U-15 training camp in Chula Vista, Calif.
The defender became the youngest player in Revolution II history to make his professional debut with New England’s second team on March 26. Miller has since made four starts in MLS NEXT Pro, recording one assist across 342 minutes played, helping Revolution II to a 3-1-0 record through the team’s first four matches of the season.
The Revolution Academy continues its MLS NEXT spring season this weekend as the U-19s take on Intercontinental FA while the U-15s and U-17s face off against Orlando City SC. More information on Revolution Academy’s teams and programs can be found at revolutionsoccer.net.
