HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, K.Y. – New England Revolution II (8-4-2-; 28 pts.; 2nd in East) heads to Highland Heights, K.Y. to take on FC Cincinnati 2 (3-6-3; 13 pts.; 11th in East) on Sunday night at NKU Soccer Stadium. The match kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET and streams live on MLSNEXTPro.com.

Revolution II is coming off a 1-0 shutout victory over New York City FC II on Wednesday night. Forward Malcolm Fry tallied the game-winner with his second goal of the season in the 57th minute off a rebounded shot from forward Jordan Adebayo-Smith, while goalkeeper Nico Campuzano recorded three saves to notch his second consecutive clean sheet.

“I think it was huge from everybody. Last time we played them [New York City FC II], we lost, and we felt like that game escaped us. I remember we went up, then we were a man down, and then it almost felt like we let it slip,” Campuzano said postgame. “This game we knew we had to have extra focus. They’re a very good team and we were both tired so it was going to be a game of who can keep their calm and composure for the longest. It's a huge performance and I’m very proud of the guys.”

New England continues to stand on top of MLS NEXT Pro with 31 goals scored this season. Adebayo-Smith ranks second in the league with 17 shots on target, while defender Pierre Cayet ranks second in MLS NEXT Pro with 37 interceptions.

Sunday’s match marks the second and final regular season meeting between Revolution II and Cincinnati in 2023. The two sides last met on April 30 when each team tallied five goals in the highest-scoring match in MLS NEXT Pro history. Adebayo-Smith found the back of the net in the 41st minute while Homegrown midfielder Damian Rivera and forward Marcos Dias each recorded braces. Adebayo-Smith, Dias, Jack Panayotou, Peyton Miller and Ben Awashie all tallied in the penalty kick shootout to secure the extra point for New England.
