FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution visit the Philadelphia Union tonight for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff at Subaru Stadium. The match airs locally on WSBK-TV38 and myRITV, as well as on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub and WBIX 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA. The match is also available on ESPN+ for out-of-market viewers.

- The Revolution will start the night in a 4-2-3-1 with three changes in the Starting XI from Saturday’s match at Nashville SC. Jon Bell, Brandon Bye, and Tommy McNamara start in place of Henry Kessler, Gustavo Bouand Matt Polster.
- Jon Bell makes his MLS and Revolution debuts in tonight’s match, starting in central defense alongside nine-year MLS veteran Andrew Farrell. Bell becomes the second Revolution II graduate to suit up in a first-team contest. The 23-year-old defender signed his MLS contract in March after starting in 15 of 16 matches for Revolution II last season in USL League One.
- Farrell (243) surpasses Jay Heaps for sole possession of the fifth-most games played in Revolution history with tonight’s appearance. Farrell ranks second overall and first among MLS outfield players in regular season appearances, starts, and minutes played since 2013.
- Maciel, who became the first Revs II graduate to play in a MLS match earlier this month, makes his third consecutive start tonight. The 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder has completed 93.2 percent of his passes (69-of-74) in MLS, the third-best accuracy rate among all players with at least 70 pass attempts entering Wednesday’s action.
- Tommy McNamara will start alongside Maciel in central midfield for the first time this season. McNamara, set to make his first start since the club’s season opener on April 17 at Chicago, has appeared in every match this season.
- Carles Gil wears the captain’s armband tonight and enters Week 5 as the MLS leader in chances created (17) and chances created from set play (11). The Revolution (2nd – 11) and Union (1st – 12) are the two most dangerous teams in the league in chances created from set play.
- Gil assisted both of New England’s goals, scored by Tajon Buchanan and Adam Buksa, in New England’s 2-0 win over Philadelphia on Nov. 24 at Subaru Park in Round One of the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs.
- Tajon Buchanan shifts back to an attacking midfield role after starting at right back last Saturday at Nashville. Buchanan has scored all three of his MLS career goals (2 regular season, 1 postseason) against the Philadelphia Union. He leads the Revs’ active roster with two goals in five regular-season games vs. Philadelphia.
- Adam Buksa enters tonight’s match as the team leader in shots (14) and shots on goal (4). The 24-year-old Polish striker collected five shots to match his single-game high in the club’s last match at Nashville SC.
- Arnór Traustason registers his fourth consecutive start tonight. The Icelandic winger, still in search of his first goal in MLS, has logged a shot on goal in each of his three games played since joining the club in April.
- Brandon Bye returns to the starting lineup after playing 26 minutes off the bench in his 80th MLS appearance last Saturday. The fourth-year defender has factored into New England’s attack this season by scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 win over Atlanta United on May 1 and delivering the cross that caused an own goal in the 1-0 triumph over D.C. United on April 24.
- Matt Turner (0-6-1) enters tonight’s contest in search of his first victory over Philadelphia in regular season play. Turner owns one clean sheet in seven league games against the Union, with one shutout win in the postseason.

- Henry Kessler, Matt Polster and Gustavo Bou are available off the bench for the first time this season.
- Matt Polster’s next appearance will be his 20th in a Revolution uniform since joining New England in July 2020. The 27-year-old midfielder has logged career milestones over the past two weeks, collecting his 100thappearance in MLS on May 1 vs. Atlanta United and eclipsing 7,500 minutes played on May 8 at Nashville SC.
- Gustavo Bou owns one goal over three games played, all start, this season. The Revolution are unbeaten (10-0-7 across all competitions) when Bou scores a goal.
- Henry Kessler snaps his streak of nine consecutive starts in league play, all complete 90-minute performances. Kessler collected three appearances as a substitute during his rookie season in 2020.
- Wilfrid Kaptoum and Edward Kizza appear on the matchday roster for the fifth time this season. Kaptoum recorded his third MLS appearance last Saturday with a 26-minute outing as a substitute, while Kizza’s 14-minute performance in the contest was the second appearance of his rookie season.
- Teal Bunbury owns one goal and four assists over 23 career games played against the Union. Bunbury logged one shot on goal over a 26-minute shift off the bench last Saturday at Nashville SC.
