FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner is ready for a new chapter in his professional career to begin. After joining the U.S. Men's National Team for a pre-camp in early November, Turner impressed Gregg Berhalter and his staff enough to earn a spot on the 23-man roster ahead of their upcoming must-win Concacaf Nations League games.
Fans were excited, to say the least.
Turner will be wearing No. 22 on his USMNT jersey, and he has been all smiles since arriving on the international stage.
The USMNT will kick off against Canada on Friday night at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2, UniMas, TUDN). You can help cheer on Turner and the rest of the American squad at the Banshee in Boston, Mass., for his first international match.
