The New England Revolution Academy Under-19 team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs, currently being played at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas. The U-19s' quarterfinal meeting with Players Development Academy (New Jersey) will stream live on both Twitch and YouTube at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 29.
The U-19s reached the last eight with wins over IMG Academy in the Round of 32 and Real Colorado in the Round of 16. Jack Panayotou (2004 - Cambridge, Mass.) and Malcom Fry (2005 - Groton, Mass.) each had a pair of goals in the Revs' 4-1 win over IMG, while Panayotou and Olger Escobar (2006 - Lynn, Mass.) were on the board in their 2-1 triumph over Real Colorado.
