What is the Revolution Academy Winter Cup Tournament?
The Winter Cup is a 1-day, indoor soccer tournament designed to prepare teams for their Spring season. It offers competitive gameplay in a condensed 4-hour window and provides an excellent environment for teams to showcase and refine their skills.
Where is the tournament held?
All games will take place at the WIN Waste Management Field House at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
How many games will my team play?
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games during the tournament, with the possibility of playing a fourth game if theyadvance to the finals.
What is the format of the tournament?
Brackets: Teams are grouped into brackets of 4.Game Length: Each game is 30 minutes.Final Match: The top 2 teams in each bracket advance to the final.Team Size: Games are played in 7v7, 8v8, or 9v9 formats depending on the age group.
Are there roster limits?
Yes, each team can have a maximum roster size of 15 players.
Are referees certified?
Yes, all matches will be officiated by certified referees to ensure a fair and professional experience.
Are there awards?
Yes, the winning team will receive a trophy and medals, while the runner-up team will receive medals.
