Happy June Junior Revs!
May was a busy month for the club, both on and off the pitch! The team grabbed three points at the start of the month with a 1-0, away win, over Chicago Fire FC! Back at home, the club recognized current and retired military service members with the annual Salute to Heroes match on May 18. Fan Zone was packed with branches of the military and a cool boat from the coast guard! May 25 featured our first ever AAPI Match, which was so much fun! There were a ton of creative activities such as calligraphy, origami making, traditional music and dance performances! Hopefully, those of you who came out saw the halftime dragon performance! Post-match saw the New England Revolution Amputee Soccer Team defeat New York Metro Amputee Soccer Team. Great job, team!
There’s no rest for the team in a busy June! The Revs host three more home matches in the month. First up, Eastern Conference foe, New York Red Bulls come to Gillette Stadium on June 8. It will also be the club’s annual Noite Brasileira! Make sure to stop by Fan Zone for more cultural music and dance performances. A week later on June 15 Vancouver Whitecaps FC will pay a visit to Foxborough. That match will also recognize the Juneteenth holiday and highlight individuals and organizations who help to make an impact in the local community. Finally, near the end the month reigning MLS Cup Champions, Columbus Crew, come to town on June 29. Don’t miss out on what will be a fantastic match day and will also be our Pride Match!
Off the pitch, June will host the Revolution’s annual charity event to support Special Olympics Massachusetts. The always fun Bowl for a Goal Presented by Arbella Insurance returns on June 25. Once again, it will be at Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Patriot Place, and will feature a night full of entertainment, complimentary appetizers, and the chance to meet your favorite Revolution players. Don’t miss out on all the fun and grab your tickets!
Just a reminder, to check-in at the Junior Revs tent in Fan Zone, located in the plaza outside the Gillette Stadium ProShop, on your way into the stadium for each home match. We’re out there until kick off so there’s plenty of time to stop by. If you miss us, you can check-in at any of the guest services locations on the concourse. Don’t forget, the more matches you attend and check in for, the better the prize at the end of the year!
