Happy October Junior Revs!
The Revs started off the fall with a busy schedule! We hosted St. Louis City SC for the very first time, ending with a 2-2 tie to give us a point! Newcomer Luca Langoni notched his first goal at Gillette Stadium, with our captain Carles Gil also scoring. Another new face, Will Sands, assisted on both goals, earning him a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday! This night was also special because we had Revs alum Taylor Twellman back out for Concussion Awareness Night. Taylor and the ThinkTaylor Foundation encouraged fans to take the #TTPledge to be EDUCATED, HONEST, and SUPPORTIVE regarding concussions. I really enjoyed doing the "Orange Out" in the 20th minute of the game with all of you and helping bring awareness to such a great cause! On the September 18 match, we split the points with CF Montreal! To round out the month, we secured the win at home against Nashville SC. Late in the match a header from Brandon Bye found the back of the net giving the Revs all three points! This match was also the Fight Childhood Cancer Match, where we all helped spread awareness in Fan Zone and throughout the match.
September sure was fun but I'm Reving up for October! We kick off the month with Fan Appreciation Week! I appreciate you every day, but this is a chance for all of us here at the Revs to be able to show you how much you mean to us! I hope you get the chance to participate and make it out to our last home game of the regular season on October 5. This game will not only be the Fan Appreciation Match, but also Noche Latina & Hispana! Fans will get to experience a vibrant celebration of Latin and Hispanic culture, with added giveaway opportunities throughout Fan Zone and the stadium!
Just a reminder, to check in at the Junior Revs tent in Fan Zone, located in the plaza outside the Gillette Stadium ProShop, on your way into the stadium for each home match. We’re out there until kick off so there’s plenty of time to stop by! If you miss us, you can check in at any of the guest services locations on the concourse. Don’t forget, the more matches you attend and check in for, the better the prize at the end of the year!
